This is going to be a quick review:
I recently signed up for 24 Hour Web Cash, otherwise known as the Certified Media Placement Specialist Program. Basically what the program is, is a course in internet marketing. They teach you exactly what you need to do for you to make money. It's been about 10 days since I started with the program, and I've managed to drive in 11 leads. I'm not sure what this translates to in terms of money, but from what I figure, as long as I keep going the money will come.
Some people have written this program off as a scam. I think this is because you have to put down some money to sign up. Not only that, one of the first things you do when you get your materials is to call a number where they sell you on a "massive traffic system." Of course they are going to push hard, but in the end it's optional. The money you put down is fully refunded (except for shipping and handling) once you've finished their checklist. I actually just finished mine today, so I'm going to get my refund back soon.
I've learned a lot. Every person that I've talked to in support has been LIVE and extremely helpful. My take on it is this. You have to spend money to get money. Ask any successful company, one of the keys to success is good marketing. That's all you are doing in this program. They make you put down the money initially because people take for granted things that are just given to them. This is not a get rich quick scheme, but rather a true business.
Like all business it takes work, but as you do the work more, you will find success. Everything I learned from the CMPS system has been worth it. I don't feel that I wasted a single cent, though I wish the written manual was a little bit more clear about things. Anyhow, I would highly recommend this program to anyone, but really only if they are honest with themselves to get down to it and do the work!

7 Tips for Generating More Traffic To Your Website
If you're an affiliate marketer, the main thing that can make or break your business is website traffic. After all, if you have no traffic, you'll be stuck wondering why this business doesn't work. Generating quality leads can be simple and cost efficient, but only if you know where to look. Here are 7 tips for generating more traffic to your site:
1. Old School Direct Mail - It sounds weird in this age of internet to say this, but direct mailing is still effective! You have to have a small budget for this, but there are many sites where you can get free business cards and such. Have them printed and then go distribute them in the parking lots of your neighborhood grocer or wholesale foods store (eg Costco).
2. Domain Name - If you haven't already, you need a crucial domain name instead of the affiliate link that you're given. Think about it, if you see xxx.affiliate.com vs. www.bestaffiliate.com, which would you visit? The domain name is often the first thing a person sees, so you want it to be something people can remember.
3. Social Networks - This can be online or offline! Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter are all of these are places with mass amounts of people you can market to. Create your own group for affiliate marketers, where you can share ideas and websites. You can also just do word of mouth within your friends and family! You never know who is in need of what you’re selling.
4. Write Articles - So many people are doing this that I'm not even sure this is a tip, but regardless you need to write articles that link back to your site. Don't think about it too much... just write! If you're good, you can pump out a few articles in an hour that you can distribute to various article databases on the internet.
5. Classifieds - Again, this is a classic method, but also very effective. Online, you can use craigslist and any number of ad sites like vflyer or postlets. Offline, look at your local newspapers or look into making a press association ad so it can be distributed to several papers all at once!
6. PPC (Pay Per Click) - Just pay for your traffic! There are so many sites out there that can drive traffic to your site, that pretty much all you need to do is pick one. Pay per click can be an ad on a website or an email ad. It really just depends on what method you think would best suit your customers.
7. Backlinks - Link your site to other people's sites and have their traffic be your traffic. The more people your website is available to, the more likely it is that people will click to your site and you can make a sale.
These 7 tips can help generate traffic to your website, which will help put dollars in your pockets. All it takes is implementation!

5 Things to Consider Before Starting a Work At Home Internet Marketing Business
These days, the internet is flooded with work at home businesses. In fact, if you type, “work at home business” into Google, you’ll get 372 MILLION results! With so many possibilities, how do you know which is the right one?
Here are 5 things to consider before starting a work at home internet marketing business. You can have other work at home jobs that have nothing to do with internet marketing (such as data entry or call center jobs), but if you really want to own a business and not just a job, you are going to want to have an internet marketing business.
1. What are you going to sell? – First things first, if you are going to be an internet marketer, you need something to market. Really, there are only two options: sell something you have or sell something someone else has.
2. If you’re going to sell something you have, how are you going to do it? – Again, there are only 2 real options. You are either going to sell your good or service straight up, or you are going to have other people sell it for you. Either way, the marketing techniques will be the same (articles, ads, websites, etc.), but if you are going have affiliate sellers, you should provide them with a generous amount of materials to use in selling your product.
3. If you’re selling someone else’s product, what is it going to be? - Selling other people’s stuff essentially means you are going to be an affiliate for someone else’s business. You want to pick a product that has high relevancy, but not too much competition. The key is to find a hot niche.
4. How much money do you want to make? – If you set your financial goal upfront, then you know what you have to shoot for (e.g., how many sales you need to make). Whatever goal you set, you need to be committed to following through with whatever it takes to reach that goal. Nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it, but you have to truly believe that you can do it and act accordingly.
5. How many hours do you want to work? – Conventional knowledge says that the more you work, the more money you will make. That is not necessarily true in internet marketing. This consideration is really about strategy. You need to determine what your plan of attack is and how you can implement that plan in a smart, efficient way. Research methods of automating your business, and you’ll be amazed at how little time it actually takes to make money.
This article presents some basic things to consider before starting a home-based internet marketing business. It is easy to just say you are going to have a work from home internet marketing business and just jump into it. However, by considering what has been presented here beforehand, you can save time and money on the backend.
